The first of many this year I think - Emma, Ash and big brother Harry welcomed baby Freya Rose on March 2nd. Huge congrats Em.
New Cardio Session - Mondays at 9am
Due to the popularity of the Cardio session at Early Riser's, I decided to make a change to the Monday boxing session so the rest of you would have the opportunity to get involved. Briody runs this high energy session, see her description below. I am offering you all the opportunity to try this session free of charge up until the end of April. Book now!!
Note: 1 free session available to existing clients on Mondays 29/3, 12/4, 19/4 & 26/4 who have not attended the cardio session before.
Cardio Session: A challenging cardio session that is sure to get you working hard and push your limits. We have had great success with this session lately with all regular clients showing marked improvement in their running capabilities, both sprint and endurance. This session is always different. Including sprint drills, medium distance running, team activites and even speed ladder drills! Great for people who hate running as the work is broken up and varied so its over before you know it! Also great for those who already run and want to get a little faster or mix things up a bit. You'll know you've worked out after this session!
Easter Shutdown
Prams will shutdown over Easter - There will be no sessions (Prams or Early Riser's) on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Monday 5th April.
A Request from me!
I'd like to ask any of you with children at playgroup, primary school or kindergarten to bring me a copy of their newsletter if it accepts advertising from local businesses. Thankyou to those that have already done so.

I have made some changes to the structure of Early Riser's to provide more flexibility. See below for dates, booking details and session descriptions. There will be a one week break between the end of the current program and the start of the next one to give all the regular's a break.

Upcoming Dates: Early Riser's - Commencing Monday 26th April - Friday 4th June (6 weeks) $15 per session
Booking Details:
- Choose which sessions you like and/or which days suit you best - 1, 2 or 3 days per week. Add up the number of sessions you've chosen and multiply by $15 for a total cost.
- Send through your bookings to me. I will forward account details for payment if you don't already have them. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
- The idea is not to choose different days each week - rather to provide the flexibility to choose the sessions you prefer on the days that suit your timetable rather than the previously prescribed Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs.
- Maximum number of participants per session is 12 (15 on Wednesday-Cardio).
- Preference will be given to people that book for all 6 weeks.
- Spots cannot be reserved. Payment is required at the time of booking.
Please note:
- All sessions run from 6 - 6.45am.
- Early Riser's is held at Central Park, Burke Rd Malvern weather permitting.
- In the event of bad weather, sessions are moved in advance to Percey Treyvaud Memorial Park, Chadstone Rd, Malvern East.
- Relocated sessions are advised early in the morning by text message. Please make sure you check your phone before leaving for the session.
- A maximum of 1 missed sessions per 5 booked may be made up at any Prams in the Park or ER session (subject to availability) within 4 weeks of the end of the program.
- Cancellations must be advised by 4pm the day before to be eligible for a catchup session.
- Early Riser's sessions may only be attended by you, the registered participant.
- Prams in the Park sessions/credit may not be used to pay for Early Riser's.
- Early Riser's is not suitable if pregnant and is a child free program.
Session Descriptions:
Monday & Tuesday:
Boxing: A drill based full body workout using boxing & kickboxing techniques combined with some strength training. You will learn punching, kicking & knees as you get your heart rate up! A great workout for burning fat, getting fit & relieving a bit of stress!
Wednesday:

Strength Circuit: my timed, circuit style strength session guarantees a great workout that you'll feel for days.
